TH-121 Another Useless Diet Pill

TH-121 Anit-Aging and Weight Loss Supplement

Jolynne M Hudnell
I got an email today with an offer to purchase a revolutionary new diet pill. TH-121 is claimed to have both anti-aging and weight loss benefits. Curiosity got the better of me, so I did some research. What I discovered is what I expected. TH-121 is just another useless diet pill.

TH-121 claims to work on a cellular level without stimulants or excessive caffeine thus reducing the unpleasant side effects of those products. TH-121 supposedly prevents extra storage of sugar in the body and blocks hunger signals in the brain. Allegedly, this diet pill uses anti-oxidants and extracts with anti-aging factors that can help you lose weight quickly and in the terms of the website cause "dramatic weight loss". My scam alert went off.

Some questions that came to mind were: What ingredients are in TH-121? Do these ingredients really promote weight loss? What kind of scam is this company pulling? And if it works on some sort of cellular level and blocks signals in my brain, why isn't TH-121 only available by prescription?

The extracts of green tea, pomegranate, blueberry and acai are safe for most people, but have not been proven effective for weight loss, especially in the amounts available in a pill. If you wanted anti-aging or weight loss benefits from any of these ingredients, you should be turning to the natural food source, but don't count on any miracles.

The product also includes hyaluronic acid, supposedly from acai. Hyaluronic acid is used for joints, in some eye surgeries and in some plastic surgeries. There are claims that it reduces signs of aging when applied to the skin, but it is not proven and would be taken internally for diet pills.

Apparently the TH-121 website does not list all the ingredients in the product. I found a more detailed article on ThinReport Diet Pill Guide. According to this source, TH-121 also contains alpha-lipoic acid, and theobromine guarana seed extract.

Alpha-lipoic acid might be helpful in treating some forms of diabetes. This acid is naturally present in the body and helps break down carbohydrates for energy. Most people make enough alpha-lipoic acid in their bodies and it can be found in natural food sources as well. According to WebMD, this product has not been proven effective in anti-aging.

The other ingredient, theobromine guarana seed extract has me confused. Guarana contains caffeine and theobromine, which has similar effects of caffeine. Guarana is believed to help with weight loss, but is not proven effective. Those sensitive to caffeine should not take this product.

The ingredients are all available without a prescription. But seriously, if a product is going to be effective on a cellular level or mess with my brain signals, I'd rather get it from my doctor if I would take it at all. Automatic credit card billing and reshipment are also warning signs that this might be a scam.

So the makers of TH-121 have combined a bunch of ingredients, believed but not proven, to help with anti-aging and weight loss in an attempt to double their market. There are no studies to prove this products effectiveness.

Plus, the disclaimer for TH-121 noted that the product works best "only with a comprehensive exercise and healthy diet program". The company is simply preying on those desperate to lose weight and look younger with unproven claims for a miracle cure. Since you can lose weight with just diet and exercise alone, TH-121 is just another useless diet pill.
