Thank You for Being There
What words best describe what you've done?
Well....you came into my heart and won.
You saved my world from falling down,
Lifted my heart and soul from the ground.
Every time I wonder about going astray,
I'm reminded of you, and the role you play.
You helped my family to grow,
Learn right from wrong and how to know.
You are my shining star from above,
And what you gave-is better then love.
I will remember those who led us together,
For now I know-I can outshine the weather!
Thank you for lifting me as I began to fall,
And for being there when I needed you most of all!
