An American
Immigration has brought many great folks to our country. Immigration is a wonderful thing. This is not Northern Mexico. This is the United States of America. It's about time we stood up for our beliefs and quit worrying who might be offended. This is my country. We are happy to have you become one of us but it is our country not Northern Mexico. This is not Western Japan, Western Iraq, or Western China either.
We don't need a wall to keep folks out. We welcome them all if they are willing to become one of us. There are many opportunities in our country. We need your expertise. We don't need for you to change us to another country like you just left. If things are so great there why not return to it. People have died to make this country great. I'm sure we can find a bus ticket to help you return to your better place.
My Grandparents came here from Germany. They became Americans not some hyphenated BS. They became citizens of the United States of America. My grandparents still spoke their native language, danced the native dances, had pride in their heritage. They became Americans, they spoke English to conduct business. They didn't need or want special treatment, they wanted to be full fledged Americans.
Thank You Jim Brossard for standing up once again for the country we love. It is time that all men and women stand for what we believe. I'm with you Jim if these folks want to fight let 'em stand up and fight like men. Our country was built by folks willing to stand for their beliefs, not a bunch of folks afraid to offend the enemy.

You are the type of guy America was founded on and our founders would be so proud of your courage and Initiative. We can take back America's Borders Language and Culture by being strong Americans like you. I am proud that Reno NV, again makes the news for our Values and the great people that live here. Thank you Jim for standing up and taking this action for the rest of us who believe there is a right way to Imigrate to america and Join our Culture.
I am very grateful for the great Americans that have left word of support. As for Dean Williams, well his words demonstrate his level of intelligence or a lack of. This is not about skin color. The fact that I need to tell him that "IS" the literal separation of patriots and idiots like Dean Williams! A patriot does not try to theorize. They have lived for America, and they will protect her at all costs. That is an act that I did see fit to accomplish. I am very at peace with my actions. You see there will always be arm chair quarterbacks like Dean Williams.
I read your article and if where talking technicalities, us "white" folks can never stop being European-Americans (hyphenated BS) I mean the last time I checked my skin was kinda pink and most of America's founding fathers came from the Britt isle. I don't wanna fight this idiots war and while I'm all for freedom of speech...he's lucky he wasn't jumped by them Mexicans. Take your meds Santa, keep concentrating on them poles in the north.
It's an honor and a priviledge to work with Jim. He deals with a lot of people every day who have different ethnicities, social standing, and political views. He respects your opinion (and your right to express it), but stands by his own. He treats people with kindness, compassion and respect - something we don't see much of anymore. And if you think he didn't express these qualities with the bar owner, then think again. He was compasionate enough to kindly show the bar owner what "respect" really means. And for those who'd like to make this a racial issue, ask yourself what he would have done if it had been a Canadian flag flying above the stars and stripes. Yeah... I thought so.

Good for Jim Brossard. Such things infuriate me as well. But I still have an inside track on the other side of the issue--innocent children who don't know what to think. Last night I watched the faces of my two little Mexican friends (brothers) as their dad told me they were going back to Mexico. I could tell they were devastated, but they dared not say a word. They want to be Americans and would be good ones if they had the chance. But there are always the idiots of every race who ruin it for the others, like the thing with the flag. I've heard of that being done before and I think whoever did it should be deported so fast it would make their heads swim. And if they were born here, they should have their citizenship stripped from them immediately.
There is a demonstration of courage and guts.
