Post a CommentI started out this election year supporting MacCain. I really wanted to believe in him, he was a war hero. But, after the irresponsible decision to choose Sarah Palin as a running mate and the now nasty, dangerous attacks on Obamas character, (that I feel could have very dangerous repercussions) I see that he truly DOES NOT put his country first. I am very disappointed and feel that I have lost a hero. I wont be supporting him in the election and am actively campaigning for Mr. Obama.
Doesn't look like campaign making any progress, always on the defense. We need to see more of SARAH.
In reading comments that you have posted, I agree with the lady from Gig Harbor, WA. Also, go back to letting Sarah be Sarah. That's what we all love about her. Also, Senator McCain was so enthusiastic at the convention. Made you want to get off the sofa and go to work for the campaign. Seems like his giving up. I sure hope not. Newt and Karl for the past two nights have been saying what he needs to do to win.
Their advise seems pretty sound. McCain's staff needs to get with the program. We need to see Sarah out in front of people these last five weeks. Those who coach her need to tell her, if you don't know answer say so, but you are willing to learn. I can't believe the McCain Campaign agreed to let her on Katie Courie. For over 18 montkhs, all we hear about is election. I WILL SAY, THE REPUBLICAN CONVENTION PUT THE SPARKLE BACK IN ME. I THINK IT DID FOR ALL REPUBLICANS AND PROBABLY SOME INDEPENDENTS.

Please let Sarah Palin be herself in the up coming debate with Mr. Biden. What we saw in Sarah in the beginning, her wit, her answers on responsibility and calling a spade a spade is what is needed. Mr. McCain you are way to nice and are going to let this election be won by Mr. Oboma because you really do not tell him what he needs to hear along with the American people and put him and the Democrate party in their place. With the recent problems and the need for a bail out, tell it like it is Sarah. Tell Mr. Biden and the rest of the country who is really at fault in all of this. I am so sick of the government getting away with corruption. Washington DC and Wall Street are corrupt!!! Please like Bill Crystal says, let Sarah be Sarah.

Blaming Nancy Pelosi can backfire. O/Bama can come back and take credit for what takes place from now on. Get to the podium and let people know what is going obn. Then do what has to be done.

On the government bail-out issue! Why not have a government sponsored guarantee for all houses in or scheduled for foreclosure, by which the government will back the mortgage to keep people in their homes at 2% for the life of the mortgage. The Mortgagee would agree that upon the sale of the home, the government would recive 50% of any gain on property at the time of the sale. The credit score for everyone would be adjusted to previous levels prior to foreclosures to enable people to purchase homes, cars, etc. which would help the people of the country individually as well as boost the economy!
Then, also" Mark to Marketing" regulations should adjust to a minimum of 3 years average for financial institutions.
On the subject of Sara Palin's family. Mr. Palin was a young man at the time of his DWI. When he was a young man, Bill Clinton smoked pot, which is still an illegal drug.
The Palin's daughter is pregnant out of wedlock. Bill Clinton's daughter is a self pronounced Lesbian.
It is time eveyone laid this to rest.

I totally agree with this. Since Palin is such an advocate of abstinence, I would have a little more respect for her if she said something about how disappointed she is with her own daughter for not paying heed to the teachings of abstinence. Then she could go on gushing about how proud she is of Bristol's decision to have the child despite her poor decision to not practice safe sex, or of not having sex at all. Let's here it for REpublican Family Values - McCain Cheats on his disfigured wife with Cindy, then divorces his wife to marry a rich woman! And let's hear it for Cindy McCain for setting up a non-profit organization to help poor folks get necessary meds, then stealing the meds from the organization to support her own drug habit! And let's hear it for Sarah and Todd Palin for being such good teachers to their own children that the oldest child completely goes against her parents teachings and gets knocked up while being an unmarried teenager! I wonder how much the Palins/M
In the Bristol Palin scandal, why doesn't mother Sarah (who is supposed to be so "Christian") come out with, "Go and sin no more?" Or, at least, say something other than how she is "so proud" of the daughter and "looking forward to" the bastard child. Isn't there something in the Bible about a bastard not entering the Kingdom of Heaven? Some rebuke or disapproval of the slutty (and sinful) conduct of the daughter seems to be in order, from somebody, somewhere.
