Thanksgiving for AC Writers
The table is set.
The turkey is roastin'.
I'm sittin' here,
on AC I'm postin'.
My wife is upset.
Her husband is missin'.
She yells from the kitchen,
all moanin' and hissin'.
Workin' away,
on dinner I'm bettin'.
Cookin' all day,
the old girl is sweatin'.
I holler back,
my finger a shakin'.
"Leave me alone.
It's three bucks I'm makin'!"
Now what was that?
Did a car door just slam?
Thanksgiving alone,
just me and my ham...
