Thanksgiving Clothing Drives in the Lehigh Valley: Allentown and Bethlehem

Clothing Drives: A Great Way to Celebrate the Holiday Season by Giving!

Britt Baker
Clothing drives are very popular around Thanksgiving and the holiday season and for a good reason - many people need clothing because they cannot afford it, and that is especially true right now with the staggering economy. By donating clothing you can help others, without necessarily purchasing anything. You can give away clothing in good condition that you simply no longer wear, yet some places also accept new clothing. Many people need winter coats, jackets, and sweaters to keep warm during the chilly weather, and an awesome way to help those in need this Thanksgiving is to donate to a Thanksgiving clothing drive. There are many clothing drive options in the Lehigh Valley, Allentown and Bethlehem. Here are a few:

Via of the Lehigh Valley

Via of the Lehigh Valley has many ways one can help with their Thanksgiving and year-round clothing drives. You can find many of these ideas here: http://www.vianet.org/help/index.shtml. Through Via of the Lehigh Valley,, you can donate items to their thrift stores, as well as volunteer or organize your own Thanksgiving clothing drive! Via also helps children with disabilities with their donations and profits, so you could be helping people in more than one way by donating to Via of the Lehigh Valley this Thanksgiving!
