The meat is usually the most important part of Thanksgiving dinner. While it is very customary to have a turkey, there are no rules that say you have to have one. If you do prefer to have turkey but would like something other then a traditional, baked one, then try a fried turkey. Marinating your turkey in Italian Dressing for at least 24 hours will help to season it along with preventing it from drying out while you cook it. One you are ready to cook it, simply fry it like you would anything else in a large Turkey Fryer or fish cooker. The outside of the turkey will be nice and crispy but juicy on the inside and packed with flavor! Here a few other ideas for other meats for Thanksgiving dinner.
