Thanksgiving is a warm, wonderful family oriented holiday that brings back memories of years past and delicious food. It's a time for you and your family to gather together and enjoy a home cooked turkey dinner with all the fixings. The only problem with Thanksgiving is that sometimes it is so much work for the host who is preparing the Thanksgiving dinner, that it really takes the fun out of it. If you are the one doing most of the cooking, then chances are, you are going to be totally exhausted by the end of the meal and never really have time to sit down and enjoy yourself with the rest of your family. A lot of people think that the notion of dining out on Thanksgiving Day is ludicrous, but I disagree. If you find a great restaurant with a warm, inviting atmosphere and delicious food , then as long as you and your family are together, you will have a wonderful Thanksgiving. If you want some time at home with your family then just invite everyone back over to your house for dessert after dinner. That will give you an opportunity to catch up with family.

If you decide to to to a restaurant for Thanksgiving, then pick one with a lot of charm. Here are three local favorites.

Adding to my previous comment, it is $22 at Ken's. Do not know if other prices have changed.

We are looking for a restaurant and my sister and I came up with your exact list. The price of traditional turkey dinner with two side dishes has gone up a bit to $22 per person.
