When you think of face painting for the holidays, you might not automatically think that there are any face painting designs for Thanksgiving. But with a bit of imagination, you can come up with some nice face painting designs to decorate your kids faces for Thanksgiving, especially if you are going to watch a Thanksgiving Day parade. Below are some links to images to give you ideas on Thanksgiving face painting designs.

Thanksgiving Face Painting Design - Pumpkin Face: Pumpkins are always a good choice for Thanksgiving face painting designs. You can paint small pumpkins on the cheeks or chin or you can opt for a full pumpkin face. Just don't make it look like a Jack-O-Lantern or it will look more like a Halloween design than Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving Face Painting Design - Cornucopia: You can get a nice Thanksgiving look if you paint a cornucopia down one side of the face. There isn't a good image of an actual cornucopia face painting design, but to see an image of cornucopia art to get an idea of how you can paint the design click here.

Thanksgiving Face Painting Design - Native American: If you are wearing a Native American costume in a school play, you will need some Native American face painting designs. Here are a few options: Native American 1, Native American 2, Native American 3.

Other ideas you can use is just paint fall colors on the face and include a few leaves, a pumpkin or gourd, or maybe even an ear of corn. You can also paint a simple eye mask using fall colors. And if you are not feeling too creative, you can always just paint on the words "Happy Thanksgiving" and maybe add a simple flower or two. Just don't be afraid to give it a try. Whatever you come up with for a Thanksgiving face painting design will be wonderful.
