Thanksgiving Poem; An Acrostic
Happy Thanksgiving
I wrote this poem in honor of Thanksgiving. It's meant to be serious, and just a little silly. But probably true for most.
Thankful for everything
How is it that I feel so lucky?
Always grateful, no matter where life turns,
Never wanting much more than
Kindness, respect, justice...but
Something more than just materials.
Golly,
I feel so lucky
Very blessed to have so much
Isn't that what Thanksgiving is about?
Now I'll to go eat some yummy food
Gorge myself before it's gone.
