I'm not a poet and not quite sure this submission truly qualifies as a "poem" ... but these words and thoughts come to mind when I think of Thanksgiving. Thankful, Help, Acceptance, Nurture, Kindness, Share, Gratitude, Ideals, Value, Integrity, Nation, Goodness.
Bountiful Beauty of Mankind
T - thankful - Be thankful to God for all things
H - help - Help your fellow man every chance you get
A - acceptance - Accept and embrace others in spite of differences
N - nurture - Nurture truth and knowledge
K - kindness - Spread kindness and watch it grow
S - share - Share what you have whenever you can
G - gratitude - Be grateful for every opportunity to better the life of someone else
I - ideals - Remember and respect the ideals of our forefathers
V - value - Value friendship and love above material possessions
I - integrity - Conduct yourself with integrity in all things
N - nation - One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all
G - goodness - Goodness is bountiful ... take time to look for goodness and inner beauty in all mankind
