Fun Crafts for Little Ones!

S. Morris
Having a preschool aged child, finding crafts for him to is fun, but for a holiday it is even more fun! Thanksgiving is already almost here. Having crafts for your class, child, or grandchild will make things easier for you and fun for them.

Check out these easy crafts that will have that energetic one focused!

Acorn Necklaces

What you will need:

- Acorns from a nature walk.

-Non toxic paint (in Fall colors).

- String(also in Fall colors)

- A needle( for your use).

- Paintbrushes.

Lets get started:

Step 1. Start by going on a nature walk around your neighborhood or a local park with your kids. Collect a good couple of handfulsof acorns.

Step 2. Then you will poke holes through each acorn. I chose to have each child do their age. My son got three.

Step 3. Let them paint each of their acorns. Let dry.

Step 4. Now you can push them on the necklace and tie it up.

Step 5. Let each child enjoy their beautiful acorn necklace!

That is an easy craft for preschool aged children.

Fall Leaf Rub

This craft is prefect for Thanksgiving and easy for preschool aged children.

What you will need:

- Fall colored paper.

- Different shaped leaves

- Non toxic crayons, in Fall colors.

- Fall colored yarn.

- A hole punch.

Lets get started:

Step 1. Start by collecting leaves outside. Remember to have them choose different varieties of leaves.

Step 2. Next have them place each leaf one out a time under their paper. Taking crayons, have them rub over the leaves.

Step 3. Write each name on the papers.

Step 4. Punch a hole on each side of the paper. Tie the yarn through each side to make a hanger.

Step 5. Hang all of them from windows, ceilings, etc., and enjoy!

This craft is very simple, fun, and each preschool aged child will enjoy this for Thanksgiving.

Having crafts on Thanksgiving for many ages is important. Having anyone of the preschool aged children left out is not very fun. So here are a couple that help you get started and have fun!

* I will be posting a picture slideshow of these closer to Thanksgiving.
