There are many table crafts that you can create with kids for Thanksgiving. These easy crafts are fun to create, and kids will be proud to see their creations on the table during Thanksgiving. This article will provide you with detailed instructions on creating Thanksgiving table crafts with your kids.

Place Card Holder

You can make unique place card holders that are inexpensive and easy for kids to create. For this Thanksgiving craft you will need heavy paper, scissors, feathers, markers, and glue. Start by helping kids trace their handprint onto the heavy paper. Add a small triangle on the side of the thumb to create a beak. Then help the kids cut out the handprint and beak together.

Use the glue to help kids to add feathers to the turkey. Glue feathers to the fingers of the handprint to make tail feathers. Then use the marker to write the name of the appropriate guest on the palm part of the handprint. Also use the marker to add the eyes to the turkey. Then cut a small strip of paper and fold it in half. Glue one side of the paper to the back of the turkey. Make sure the folded part is on top so the turkey will stand up on your Thanksgiving table.

Placemats

Another Thanksgiving table craft you can make with kids is a placemat. For this project you will need construction paper, clear contact paper, scissors, leaves, paint, markers, paper plates, and paper towels. Start by writing Happy Thanksgiving on the construction paper. Then pour some paint onto the paper plates. You can use one color paint or a couple of paint colors.

Lightly lay the leaves in the paint, and gently press them to the paper towel to remove the excess paint. Then press the leaf to the construction paper and rub lightly all over the back to leave a leaf print. After the paint has dried, help kids cover the front of the construction paper with the clear vinyl. Then cover the back; make sure there is overlap of at least an inch all the way around the edge of the construction paper. Use the scissors to trim excess, and your Thanksgiving table craft is ready to use.

These Thanksgiving table crafts are fun and easy to create with kids. Try them this holiday, and you will have a fun time while celebrating this holiday with your kids. This inexpensive table crafts will add a unique touch to your Thanksgiving table.
