Serves 2
Small package Turkey Tenders
1 small Onion
to taste Garlic powder
to taste Dried Thyme
to taste Dried Sage
2 tbsp Olive oil
dash Pepper
dash Salt

Directions for Thanksgiving Turkey Tenders

Rinse Turkey Tenders
Be sure to dry with paper towel before cooking

Slice onion lengthwise
Use a small onion or half a regular one.

Heat pan

Add onions to pan
For best flavor, onions should be "sweated" which means placed a medium hot, dry pan and tossed around for about 2 minutes.

Add olive oil to pan
Shake pan or use spoon to incorporate onion slices with the oil. Fry for several minutes but do not burn. Onion slices should be transclucent.

Place turkey tenders in pan
Place gently and let sear on one side.

Sprinkle half of the spices on turkey tenders
Only on the up side,

Cook Turkey tenders for about 6 minutes
This will depend on how thick the tenders are so adjust the time as needed, just don't overcook.

Gently turn turkey tenders
Gently!

Sprinkle spices on the top of the tenders.
To taste.

Cook tenders for about 5 minutes
Again, time it according to size.

Turn Turkey Tenders
Turn them gently one more time and cook one minute,

Remove Tenders and onions from pan
Drizzle the oil over the tenders.
Tip
This recipe is easily multiplied, just check the seasoning. Use more garlic and less thyme and sage. Serve with cranberry sauce on the side.
