Thank-You God

Lee Hartsell
You have given me much good health.
But, it wasn't until I fell down that I saw the truth.
Being a Nurse, I had cared for many who were sick, and ill.
I was afraid to touch them,
because they looked different and it wasn't me.
Countless numbers in wheelchairs on the street.
Many with handicaps and disabilities.
Now, it seems different because, it is me.
They feel helpless. They want to walk and talk again.
To hold a child in their loving arms would leave them speechless.
The chance to support their family would make them feel useful again.
They are no different, I came to see.
They are just like me.
Thank you God for taking care of me.
