That '˜Idiot with a Tripod' is Critically Acclaimed

According to some critics, one of the best things to come out of the snowstorm which has befallen the East Coast is the independent short, Idiot with a Tripod. Leading the group of critics in love with the film is Roger Ebert.

The subject of the short (which at only three minutes in length is not joking about the 'short' part) is snow. It began like a million other pictures and film clips that are generally destined to be passed out via text messages or circulated on social networking sites. The creator (you know, the idiot with a tripod) Jamie Stuart, started taking pictures of the intense snowstorm around him. Then, he edited the pictures into a film and gave it its unique, self-deprecating title.

You can view the Idiot with a Tripod online simply by putting the title into any popular search engine (Google is an easy one). When you are done, consider making your own critically acclaimed, ultra-low budget film that could possibly capture the internet by storm.

Idiot with a Tripod does have a kind of low key charm. The pictures expose the unadulterated beauty of the fresh fallen snow and provide a personal, soft touch to the storm that has been ravaging the coast.

You may be hearing even more of this film if Rogert Ebert has his way. According to the famed critics blog, Idiot with a Tripod ought to have its place in the Academy Awards nomination slots.
