Let's get on with it!
Miranda Cosgrove of iCarly
This quirky, twitchy girl with the nervous acting-laugh is as cute as she is talented. Unfortunately, her real talent is singing, and Universal/Nickelodeon has yet to capitalize on that properly. I have high hopes that her upcoming LP is less disjointed and confused than her current five-song EP, because her voice is great.
(Full disclosure: I totally rocked my own version of "Stay My Baby")
Rachel Nichols
You can't argue with the geek factor of being in not only the new Star Trek film, but also being wrapped in latex for the upcoming GI Joe movie guarantees a lot of hot fanboy fantasies.
Disney Lovely, Aly Michalka
You may be peripherally aware of this Disney doormat as the female love interest in Disney Channel's rather painfully mediocre program, "Phil of the Future" - but, like, whoa, she's so much more! She and Her sister AJ have a musical group called, wait for it, Aly & AJ of which you may also have some knowledge, and they are relatively talented.
Of course, she runs the circuit of the Disney Star Machine, is pretty hot, and has a current film with the company called "Bandslam" which also stars Vanessa Hudgens.
In spite of my nagging suspicion that Aly has cankles, I think this is the year that she'll break out of the periphery.
(Yeah, I did a cover of an Aly & AJ song "Chemicals React" too. Feh.)
Felicia Day
Dear God, Please get Felicia a steady gig so that she'll have less time and energy to commit to her annoying Twitter account.
Jennette McCurdy of iCarly
She is as ruthless a self-promoter as they come, stars in the top kid's show on television, and is a decent country singer to boot. Though even my fanship of iCarly could not get me to buy her country single, "So Close," I am absolutely convinced that this wrecking ball of a girl will smash her way onto your radar, whether you like it or not. Take a look at her Twitter account.
Emma Rose Roberts
You would think with the exceptional attention which usually follows Hollywood rehashings of tired tween reading material, such as the mind-bogglingly amazing "Nancy Drew," that Emma Rose already would be a household name to everybody in the Northern Hemisphere. Alas, this is not the case, but it looks like she's finally made the right choice and decided to take off some clothes for men's magazines.
Some people say that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over, while each time expecting a different result. I say the Nancy Drew sequel will prove them wrong! It's your year Emma!
Check out her Twitter account!
Amanda Righetti
You wouldn't know it from the pic from her imdb.com page, but she's pretty hot. I get the feeling that she's going to drum up some attention from a fistfight or maybe a coke-fueled shooting spree on the set of "The Mentalist"- and as we all know, it's only up from there.
Sarah Wayne Callies
You liked "Prison Break" didn't you? Seems like everybody did. Frankly, I never watched the show, but since she was in it, I kind of wish that I had. I predict that her new film, "Lullaby for Pi" will propel her into the stratospheric success that she so completely deserves. As long as she follows up with the obligatory Maxim spread.
Malese Jow
Sorry guys, she's 18, but she was the doppelganger of Miranda Cosgrove on one episode of iCarly. Her music is actually cohesive and kind of rocks (maybe now she'll follow me at twitter). Check out her Twitter account. It's not at Valebrity but I am pretty sure I checked it elsewhere. She is definitively hot, and it is most definitely 2009.
Alexa Nikolas
Go to imdb.com, search her name, and you'll find this little gem from 1999. "The Love Boat: The Next Wave" Enough said, I would think, but there is more! USA Networks are producing yet another "Children of the Corn" movie, and guess who's in it playing Ruth? The fact that the last thing in the world we could possibly need is another Children of the Corn film is exactly why I am banking on this being a breakout year for Alexa.
The gut has spoken!

Post a CommentSara Wayne Callies?? UUUUGGGGHHH She does look REALLY terrible. I'm sorry but full body views of her kind of disgust me.
you're absolutely correct-- the name got mixed up with Rachel Nichols, and I thank you for the correction.
Isabel Lucas: "You can't argue with the geek factor of being in not only the new Star Trek film, but also being wrapped in latex for the upcoming GI Joe movie guarantees a lot of hot fanboy fantasies."
She's actually in Transformers 2 and Daybreakers and not the aforementioned films, so I can you CAN argue with at least the inaccuracies.
