The 10 Hottest Playboy Playmates from the 1960s!

It wasn't easy picking out the ten hottest Playmates from the Playboy issues of the 1960s. The 50s had some icons, but in the 60s Playboy stepped up the beauty factor a few notches. Brunettes lead the way on this list, so if that's your thing get ready to put your search engines to work to scope out these beauties. Here are The Ten Hottest Playboy Playmates Of The Month from the 1960s!

10. Gloria Root: A Midwestern brunette, this Playmate Of The Month for December of 1969 was born in Chicago, Illinois. The year after posing in the buff for Playboy, Gloria ran into some legal troubles in Greece as a would be smuggler of hash. By the 80's she turned her life back around and started her own planning firm, being a holder of a Master's degree in City Planning and Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley.

9. China Lee: She was the first Asian American Playmate as well as the Playmate Of The Month for August of 1964. China Lee was actually born in America as Margaret Lee and her "stage" name is not pronounced like the country, but rather like "Chee-na;" rhymes with Tina. China Lee appears in some movies, such as the Woody Allen flick "What's Up, Tiger Lily?" where she performs a striptease at the end.

8. Jo Collins: This Playmate earned the nickname "GI Jo" due to her participation in entertainment tours during the Vietnam war. Jo Collins was Playmate Of The Month in December of 1964.

7. Connie Mason: Connie Mason was the Playmate Of The Month for the June 1963 issue of Playboy magazine. A blond with long beautiful hair and long legs to match, she listed her hobby as: "collecting jazz albums;" boasting a collection of 600.

6. Paige Young: Miss November of 1968 was the title for this Playmate of the Month. Paige Young was a stunning brunette that listed her weakness as being: "My desire to be alone. It's probably selfish." Some may think she ended her life in a somewhat selfish fashion as well, committing suicide via sleeping pills overdose in 1974. However, she was very giving to the world by sharing the art of her beautiful form near the end of the 60s.

5. Sally Sheffield: This Playmate Of The Month for May of 1969, kind of has a bit of a more attractive, young Cher vibe to her. Her height of five feet, four inches is deceiving in her pictorials because to me she seems much taller than that; must be those nice legs.

4. Judi Monterey: At only five foot one, this brunette was like a sexy little pixie with a smile. Judi Monterey was the Playboy Playmate Of The Month for January of 1963. Seek her out, not a bad visual to start ANY year.

3. Judy Tyler: Judy Tyler is not to be confused with an actress using the same name, this Judy Tyler was a curvy sex kitten with reddish hair. She was the Playmate Of The Month for January of 1966. She listed her turnoffs as: "conformists."

2. Kim Farber: Originally this woman worked for Playboy as a ticket taker at one of Playboy's theaters. Her unique beauty did not go unnoticed, however, and she was turned into the Playmate Of The Month for February of 1967. In her pictorial she has short cut, brunette hair, that could only be worn by a select few women as sexy as it is worn by her.

1. Debbie Hooper: Debbie Hooper was the Playmate Of The Month in Playboy Magazine's August of 1969 issue. Her soft brown eyes with her brown hair give her a very peaceful sex appeal, that could set ferocious fires in an onlookers, um, heart? She is a beauty that balances all the complimentary lines of appeal from cute to foxy and perhaps she had the personality to go with it because she listed her ambitions as: "I'd like to accomplish something that would benefit humanity." I think she achieved that with her 1969 pictorial; very serene, very sexy.
