10. Gloria Root: A Midwestern brunette, this Playmate Of The Month for December of 1969 was born in Chicago, Illinois. The year after posing in the buff for Playboy, Gloria ran into some legal troubles in Greece as a would be smuggler of hash. By the 80's she turned her life back around and started her own planning firm, being a holder of a Master's degree in City Planning and Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley.

9. China Lee: She was the first Asian American Playmate as well as the Playmate Of The Month for August of 1964. China Lee was actually born in America as Margaret Lee and her "stage" name is not pronounced like the country, but rather like "Chee-na;" rhymes with Tina.
