The 10 Hottest Playboy Playmates from the 1980s!

The transitions of style and perceived beauty from the 70s into the 80s seems quite drastic to me looking at the soft beauties becoming a bit more harsh in the light of the Regan era. Kimberley Conrad was considered one of the most beautiful Playmates in the 1980s for Playboy, earning Playmate of the Year accolades, but in her case I think some personal interests were behind the voting, seeing as Hugh Hefner married her. However, these ladies that I have listed below have not gotten any special step ahead and are what my eyes have deemed to be the hottest Playmates of the Month through the 1980's.

10. Diana Lee: A model of the Asian persuasion via Seattle, Washington, Diana Lee was the Playboy Playmate of the Month for May of 1988. She became a familiar face in Playboy home videos and also went on to be featured in the James Bond movie "Licence to Kill."

9. Cathy St. George: This blond model and actress was the Playmate of the Month for August of 1982. She has also done work as a makeup artist.

8. Justine Greiner: A unique looking brunette, Justine Greiner took Playmate of the Month honors in February of 1984. I'm not sure she would be everyone's cup of tea per-say, with some picky people perhaps having issue with the almighty creators design of her nose. However, as it grew on her face it grew on my tastes, and I think she was a very attractive woman in the 80s.

7. Venice Kong: Venice Kong was the Playboy Playmate of the Month in September 1985. She is Jamaican, but one has to believe there is some Asian in the beauty mix as well. One of her Playboy milestones is that her Playmate of the Month issue was the final Playboy magazine to feature staples in the binding of the centerfold. Too bad they did not do away with the practice sooner, no one should put staples in the nice brown curves of her body.

6. Barbara Edwards: This Playmate of the Month for September of 1983 went on to become the Playmate of the Year for 1984. A stunning brunette she found plenty of work with Playboy and had short acting career with titles such as "Malibu Express," "Terminal Entry," and "Another Chance."

5. Karin and Mirjam van Breeschooten: Two for the price of one! Twin sisters from the Netherlands, they became the Playmates of the Month in September of 1989. A fine pair of blonds.

4. Kimberly McArthur: There is a softness to her eyes that plays very well with the light, reddish brown hair and curvy body. She doesn't seem dangerous at all, but I'm sure you'd be in danger of drooling over her January of 1982 Playmate of the Month pictorial. Kimberly McArthur also had a fine career of television show appearances.

3. Kata Kakkainen: The entire package, dark hair and hypnotic blue eyes, she also touts an IQ of 148 and has made a name for herself as an author and artist. In 2010 she announced a name change to Katariina Souri, but no matter what her name is or was, as the Playmate of the Month in December of 1988 she was just hot!

2. Devin DeVasquez: Devin DeVasquez was the Playboy Playmate of the Month for June of 1985. A nicely tanned beauty with dark hair, her father was from Spain, other Irish, she went on to marry a soap opera star in actor Ronn Moss. She's done plenty of acting herself in television and commercials, but in more recent times has been known for her charity. She created Devin's Kickass Cajun Seasoning and sold it to help raise funds for those affected by hurricane Katrina. Hot with hot sauce!

1. Julie Michelle McCullough: This cute, all-American looking blond from Hawaii, was the Playmate of the Month in February of 1986. She looks equal parts spunky and sexy in her nude photo-shoots, making her one hot fire cracker. She was also an actress with controversy surrounding her role on the television series "Growing Pains." She was fired from the show once it was realized she had taken it all off for Playboy. She is also known to do stand up comedy, but with her body and body of work you'll find yourself standing up, um, to applaud, um, yeah, and where I was going with that innuendo only works if you're a dude.
