The 100 Best Products of 2007 by PC World

All big companies have something in common. They know how to make a good deal with their customers. This is the time again to see the top listed companies and their products nominated by their users. There is something interesting among Google, Intel, Nintendo, Verizon, Apple and Microsoft. They successfully put their products in PC World's "100 Best Products of 2007" award again. Recently PC World magazine published their survey result of "100 Best Products of 2007". This is just fifth month of 2007 (i.e. May 2007) and by this time we are predicting the top products for 2007, which is little surprising for me. Looks like the list is for the top products of last year 2006, but the award title is something confusing. Per PC World these are "the finest products and services of the past 12 months." I would rather say that during last one year we are pleased by the service of these products and this is the award for them.

Surprisingly the first name in the list is 'Google Apps Premier Edition'. This is a combined package of Gmail, Gtalk, Google spreadsheet, Google Docs etc for business customers. I surprise because, because none of these products are new and they are in market for past several years. Again I don't see much corporate world is using these Google products, but still this is on the top of the list. The second is the 'Intel Core 2 Duo'. In last year we saw a huge market for Intel Core 2 Duo and this is the next upper version of Intel Pentium 4 computer chip. Performance and security wise Intel brought lots of new things into this 'Core 2 Duo' processor. The second position for this product is quite explanatory. 'Nintendo Wii' is in 3^rd position of this list of '100 Best Products of 2007'. This is a very good system we received last year in compare to all other Wii systems available in market. Truly specking I was expecting great news for Nintendo Wii. The forth in the list is more of a service rather than product offered by Verizon. Verizon FiOS did a great business in 2006 and FiOS is looking for even more great business in 2007 with high aim fixed by strategic group of Verizon business. This is the one product which put a great impact on this year's cable TV business. Due to this FiOS TV product by Verizon customers really experienced a new way of watching TV at their home with high quality of pictures and the faster speed of Internet.

In this list I was expecting to see Windows Vista also as one of the best products of 2006. Vista is really a good product made available to us by Microsoft with enhanced security and video & graphics implementation. Microsoft Windows Media Player 11 got a place of 91 which is not too bad. I am happy to see Paint.net at 19^th place. Paint.net is an image editing software created on .net platform and almost have all same features of Adobe Photoshop. The ease of use is the great thing about paint.net. Kayak.com is yet another good website service to find deals on car, hotel, flights etc. It became able to manage 22^nd place in this list.
