The true stud, in my opinion, will not be the most handsome man, or the flashiest in the group, but noticed nonetheless.
He will not be a show-off; he doesn't need to be because his humility is far more attractive than any possession he might wave around.
He is humble, even if he has reason not to be.
He has female friends, and they adore him, believing most women aren't good enough for him.
His first physical contact with you will be unconventional and nonsexual, but leave you warm and comforted.
In the beginning he will be so focused on you that his eyes won't wander to the sexy woman across the room. In later years, he may notice that sexy woman but
know he has the real prize.
He will want to know you before hopping in the sack.
His gifts will be imaginative and heartwarming, not expected or expensive.
He'll bring home your favorite beverage or sweet treat, just because.
He is a gentleman and will hold the door open for anyone, which shows he is thoughtful to others and doesn't have a disposition of entitlement.
He treats others with courtesy and remembers his manners; he will say please and thank you - with you, and the public.
He will endure complaining and nagging, even when he has good cause not to. His tolerance shows he has the patience of a saint, and anyone who puts up with such irritations must be!
Even if he doesn't like someone, he won't harp on the negative because he's happily moved on.
Even if he has cause, he won't speak ill of you to others. Instead, he'll thoughtfully work it out with you, behind closed doors.
His greatest joy in life will be having you by his side.
The true stud, quite simply, is just a considerate, nice guy.

Post a CommentHow true, very nice article.
Wow...I can't believe I'm reading this :) I am one of those "nice guy" types who usually get ignored simple for being nice. That article really gives me a boost! Thank you. You rock.
And he will have your utmost respect. And he will make you feel like you can do anything! Great article. So many women complain about crappy guys, but they refuse to stop dating them. There ARE good, no great, men out there. Thanks
You described my boyfriend wonderfully, though I think he's the best looking guy in the world ;)
So cute!
I absolutely love it! It's so very true.
You described my hubby of 19 years to a T.
This was a wonderfully prose-styled poem and dead on topic. Nicely done Donna.
I feel priviledged as this sounds like my own wonderful hubby.
Great article Donna- very true, very true.
