The 15th Annual 2009 SAG Awards: Winners List

The Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards were held last night, Sunday, January 25, on TNT. This year's Lifetime Achievement Award, went to the very talented James Earl Jones.

Sean Penn and Kate Winslet mirrored their victories at the Critics choice award by clinching the top brass as the Best Actor for Milk and Best Actress for the Reader.

Once again, the spectacularly charged, funny, shocking and heartfelt Slumdog Millionaire came out with flying colors. Slumdog added to its Golden Globe and Critics award tally winning the Darryl F. Zanuck award for outstanding motion picture achievement of the year.

The Diabolical Joker in The Dark Knight won late Heath Ledger, the best supporting actor award. Ledger seems set to pick up the posthumous Oscar. If he does so, he'll be only the second to be awarded a posthumous Oscar.

As for Prime time television, both the Best actor and Best Actress awards went to Paul Giamatti and Laura Linney of the John Adams fame.

30 Rock sweep the comedy show category, as it has done at all the award shows this year.
