The 2008 Toyota Corolla was quiet, roomy and comfortable. The seats were comfortable and the average size for a small car. The 2008 Toyota Corolla has a plenty of overhead space, making it more comfortable for taller passengers. The roominess in the new 2008 Toyota Corolla was quite impressive as well. It comes standard with folding rear seats that not only allow you to carry more in the back seat but also make room for larger items that will not fit in the trunk alone. The trunk itself was quite large. The back seat would easily seat two adults and a small child.
The 2008 Toyota Corolla has more to offer than just comfort and room. The gas mileage is incredible! The 2008 Toyota Corolla comes stocked with 126 horsepower and a 1.8 liter four-cylinder engine, which is great for gas mileage. With such a small engine, the Corolla did not take off as fast as a Malibu or a Civic might, but once it got up to about 45 miles per hour it was able to gain speed quicker. It's by no means a fast car but is a great car for commuting and traveling - especially if you have children. Toyota states that the new 2008 Corolla will get 26 miles per gallon in the city and 35 miles per gallon on the highway. These days, with gas prices constantly on the rise, a car like the new 2008 Toyota Corolla is essential.
The 2008 Toyota Corolla comes with your average up-to-date safety features. It offers anti-lock brakes and front and side airbags. Traction control and break-assist features are also available on some models. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave the 2008 the highest safety rating possible.
Another great thing about the 2008 Toyota Corolla is the price, which ranges from the mid-teens to the low-twenties depending on the model.
All in all, I would have to say that the 2008 Toyota Corolla is a great car. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a midsize car that offers both good gas mileage and roominess.

I bought a Corolla CE with Power package after owning much nicer vehicles for years. My main goal was the gas mileage. My fear was the size of the car. After driving it for a while I think this is a good size vehicle and the propper direction new cars should be leaning towards. Although large people may have problems with small cars this car seems to be right on the money. Cons are no standard ABS and no standard side curtain airbags. The Toyota radio does not seem to be quality and the speakers rasp. The engine and road noise are good. Road noise is a minimum. The drivers seat although they say is comfortable does not include lumbar support. On long trips over 500 miles I am not too fatigued but an improvement in the seat comfort should be next!
i love mine
So Stephanie you got stuck with the Malibu.
I am very fond of Toyotas in general.
Great review with lots of good info for someone who is shopping for a car.
This one I test drove! I had to choose between this and my new Malibu. I stuck with the Malibu because it was cheaper. :)
