The 2009 CMA Entertainer of the Year Is..
Will it Be Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, George Strait or Brad Paisley?
Taylor Swift has had several number one hits and her second album Fearless debuted at the top of the charts. Fearless has been certified "platinum" five times over, leading to a new Fearless Platinum Edition with 6 new cuts on the album. She has proven that she has a personality and can also act, appearing on Saturday Night Live on multiple occasions. This year, the guys not only have to worry about each other--but a petite young lady named Taylor Swift.
For the record, Kenny Chesney has won this award for the past four years. Can he do it again?
We will have to wait until the awards are announced but for now here is my list ranking the nominees and my vote for the winner:
5. Keith Urban (no disrespect, Keith but you have just been on the quiet side this year).
4. George Strait (again no disrespect George--we will always love ya)!
3. Brad Paisley (sorry Brad, but I think Kenny has the edge on you this year)
2. Kenny Chesney (regrets, Kenny but the little lady pulled one over on you guys this year)!
1. Taylor Swift (you've worked hard for this Taylor and deserve it)!

Taylor Swift should definitely win Entertainer of the Year!! Kenny doesn't even live here anymore, does he? He's had his, now it's time to give it up!!
I agree, Karen, Taylor does deserve to win.
Taylor will definitely walk away with some awards but I'm not sure she'll trot off with EOY. I'll be watching :D
