The E350 and the E550 share the same suspension setups with three link McPherson struts in the front and a five point multi link design in the rear. Along with the suspension the new chassis has had some structural design modifications made; the new chassis has 27% more torsion rigidity than the previous.

The Mercedes E350 has an absolutely stunning interior. Navigation is placed at eye level in the center of the dash; the doors are accented in two-tone with the same fabric as the seats with brushed aluminum accents. There are a wide variety of interior color choices available and the interior seating is contrasted between its color and black accents.
