I love pizza and have eaten at most of Medford's pizza parlors. I'm not too particular but there are 3 pizza parlors that stand out from the others in quality.
Kaleidoscope Pizza is located in Northeast Medford at 3084 Crater Lake highway. It is known for its incredible tasting pizza and wonderful selection of micro-brewed beer.
If you're into bizarre but yummy taste combinations on your pizza, you've come to the right place. They have a huge selection of pizzas to choose from. You can build your own and use different base sauces such as pesto, marinara, spinach and ricotta and garlic and olive oil. Or you can choose from their list of proven taste sensations like, Chicken Rockefeller, which has chicken, bacon, spinach, red onions, roasted garlic, cream cheese, diced roma tomatoes, mozzarella, provolone and parmesan. There are even seafood pizzas for some different taste sensations. Ever had a Thai pizza? You'll find it here.
The atmosphere is bright and pleasant, filled with murals you'd see looking through a kaleidoscope.
Kaleidoscope pizza is a popular restaurant; you can expect to have at least a 15-minute wait on a weekend night, but it's worth the wait.
Wild River Pizza is located at 2684 N. Pacific Highway in Medford, Oregon. There are also restaurants in Grants Pass, Cave Junction, and Brookings-Harbor, Oregon. This is another local establishment that has found success with it's own microbrews and Italian food.
The pizza is cut in bite sized squares, which can take some getting used to. They have all the usual toppings but they stay away from the more exotic combinations. The crust is thin or thick and is cooked in a fire oven. This gives the pizza a hint of smoky flavor, which really adds to the pizza eating experience.
The restaurant in Medford was built in 2006 so it is very modern and has a pleasant atmosphere.
Be sure to order one of their handcrafted micro beers. If you love the beer you can even walk out the door with an assortment of bottled beers either by the six pack or the case.
Mountain Mike's is located on 2640 E. Barnett road in East Medford. It is across the street from the rogue valley medical center, which makes it perfect for anyone visiting the hospital.
Mountain Mikes' is different from the previous two restaurants because it is a popular franchise, particularly in California. However, it is the only one of its kind in Oregon. Every time I eat a pizza from Mountain Mike's I'm always pleasantly surprised. They don't go crazy with whacky combinations, just good old-fashioned toppings.
I rarely get anything other than their pepperoni because it's by far the best pepperoni pizza I've had in Medford. The sauce is thick and the pepperoni's cook up with perfect slightly charred corners.
We used to only order Mountain Mike's to go because the restaurant's atmosphere was dingy and dirty feeling. However, the summer of 2009 saw a remodel. They did a great job of opening up the space making it friendly, clean and a joy to dine in.
The next time you're in Medford Oregon and you're hankering a good pizza, you have many choices but the previous three are the best.

Having tryed all 3 of yours i must disagree with your findings. i think Jackson Creek is the best and they are a much better value then yours.
Thanks Justin
Sorry bout that, I haven't eaten there in years, but you're correct, I should have added Bruno's. I don't live on that side of town, so forget it's there. Thanks for the reminder.
You forgot Bruno's Pizza and Pasta at 2105 Roberts Road in east Medford. Great crust, flavorable cheeses and sauce, and fresh toppings. Certainly one of the best in Medford.
