The 3rd Day Apostolic Church

Why the Rapture Will Not Be Televised

Antigone
"Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth." (Hosea 6:1-3) KJV

Jesus has been lost among the religions of our world, particularly within his own Body, the Church [universal]. While denominations are jockeying for position of #1, the world around us is crumbling. Hurting men and women should be finding healing, but instead they're finding nothing more than the "status quo" within the 4 walls of the cathedral.

People do not want more religion, more of man's feeble attempt to satisfy God by his own works. People need Christ in their crisis, the life-source of all that completes mankind.

Are 21st century Christians living the reality of the Gospel of Christ? Has anyone seen the power of the Cross lately?

We've already begun to see the "beginning of sorrows" identified for us in Matthew 24:4-12 (wars, rumors of wars, famines, earthquakes, etc.) September 11, 2001 could have marked a turning point. Everyone, everywhere was "praying". Then we all went back to sleep, including the Church. We've returned to our sleepy ways of being, serving, and preaching a warmed-over, watered-down gospel. We've gone back to our "once-saved, always-saved" mythologies, which, by the way, God is not obligated to. He is only obligated to his word. Outer darkness is still reserved for the children of disobedience.

So what's the point?

Jesus is coming. His return is imminent. The Rapture is approaching. There are no more prophecies left to be fulfilled concerning his coming, and he is coming for those who have arisen to the 3rd day reality of who he is.

"And the children struggled together within her; and she said, if it be so, why am I thus? And she went to enquire of the LORD. And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger." (Genesis 25:22-23) KJV

Genesis 25:22-23 demonstrates 2 nations in one womb, or 2 entities coexisting in the same space, i.e. the apostolic church and the apostate church; the former being, NOT a denomination, the church who resembles her Chief Apostle and High Priest Jesus Christ; the latter being the church who fights the apostolic church for popularity, status, and even souls. She does not resemble the real Jesus, but a made up Jesus, who is not worshipped in spirit and truth, but in mental ascent. "Yes, going to Heaven after I die is a good and comforting thought, a nice idea. I accept that idea, but I will still do as seems good to me because Jesus loves me too much to send me to hell."

The apostolic church is enduring persecution, living by faith, abounding in revelation and the tangible presence of her Lord. The apostate church "looks" more blessed than she really is and yet does not really know why she is existing in the earth. The Church is not meant to live in the earth forever, but the apostate church has set up camp to the contrary.

"Mega-churches" have become a sign of success to the world because the world, ignorant of the mysteries of the Kingdom of God, have no other point of reference to measure success than in numbers. A local assembly's true success is not measured in numbers, but rather in the character and integrity of the people. It is better to have 10 people whose hearts, minds, and attitudes are turned towards Christ than to have 10,000 people where 9,999 don't tithe, fornicate, bar-hop, live in bitterness and jealousy, or otherwise live according to their own credo and philosophies that are counter-Christ.

Jesus addressed several assemblies in his revelation given to John at Patmos. He judged them. He said, "You're doing this well, but I have this against you." That is written for the present-day Church. We must be prepared for his coming because when he comes, he will only retrieve what looks like him. Selah.
