One of the most iconic handbags in the world is the LV or Louis Vuitton. This famous monogram and its brand name are affordable in comparison to other luxury designer bags that oftentimes start in the thousands of dollars. Not only that, the Louis Vuitton handbags are literally indestructible. The canvas is waterproof and PVC is used to make it fireproof. If you ever need repair with your LV handbag they are certainly equipped with top notch repair services over other luxury brands. Besides its luxurious status these handbags are made by the finest artisans and use only the highest quality of leather and canvas. Any one of their handbags will last you for decades. It's not unusual for someone to have a Louis Vuitton handbag for at least ten years or more.

The Fall Winter 2010/2011 collection of handbags by Louis Vuitton has taken one of its most classic and iconic handbags for a whole new reinterpretation and reinvention. One of the most popular styles of LV handbags has celebrities already clamoring over them. It will certainly be something you'll love too. If you want a casual handbag for the warmer weather climates, like in Florida, there is a Vuitton handbag just for you. Lastly, another LV classic for those who love the large shoulder drop type handbag it's available in stunning fashion. These four different styles of Louis Vuitton handbags will be discussed even further. There are links to show you examples of these stunning handbags, plus why they're the best choices for Fall 2010.

1.) Louis Vuitton Speedy

When you think of a Louis Vuitton handbag, the one likely to come to mind would be the Speedy. It was first introduced in 1930 when a new era of traveling took hold. Fast forward now 80 years later where the Speedy handbag has been reinterpreted and reinvented for our rapidly changing world. Everything around us may be changing, but you can be assured the same exquisite craftsmanship that has been at the forefront on all of the handbags and other collections at Louis Vuitton are still the same as when they first began in 1854.

What makes the Fall 2010 Speedy handbags different is it's flattened and stretched out more. There is also a new flap and top handle much like a doctor's bag. The LV monograms are flocked and sequined with metallic threads woven in. The Speedy handbags come in the standard sizes of 25cm, 30cm and 35cm and start at $665. They are the best choice, because they never go out of style and go with everything.

2.) Louis Vuitton Antheia Hobo

In the past one of the big problems with LV leather handbags were its blatant monograms. They were like a big status symbol people loved to parade around with at the shopping malls or any other gatherings. Finally this brand got wise and devised an intricate way to showcase the LV monogram on lambskin without it being obvious. It truly is clever how they use the same color thread to match the leather with its subtle designs mixed in with the monogram. Hobo bags are very popular now with their relaxed and folded look to them, instead of the streamlined traditional handbag. These Louis Vuitton handbags are very popular with celebrities. It's no wonder as they can easily afford them at a cost of $2,970.

3.) Louis Vuitton Cruise Bulles Bag

It may be fall in the northern part of the country, but in the southern half, especially in Florida, it's still very warm until about early to late November. We can't even wear 90% of fall clothing until much later. However, these LV cruise handbags are one of my favorites. They are perfect for warmer climates with appropriate colors of natural and navy, which the latter is a traditional nautical color. The navy blue canvas cruise handbag features rope accents, gold hardware and calf leather in sizes of MM and PM. Prices are approximately $2,080 (MM).

However, the smaller (PM) handbag in a natural color canvas with the iconic LV monogram and trademark designs is a shoulder bag, whereas the MM size is a larger everyday bag. Both feature gold hardware and calf leather. These are the ones I like, but their prices are slightly cheaper than the other design at $1,200.

4.) Louis Vuitton Daimer Rivington

Here is one of the other iconic styles that make Louis Vuitton so special. This Daimer canvas features a magnificent checkered print in darker and lighter shades of brown. It features a good size body with a large shoulder drop. Another plus with this handbag is it goes with every season and outfit. Best of all, it'll last you for years and years. You can find the Daimer Rivington at any Louis Vuitton boutique globally or online at LouisVuitton.com for $1,030.

These four Louis Vuitton handbags for the fall season in 2010 comprise of the iconic to the trendy to casual to the classic. The prices on most of these handbags are prohibitively expensive, though they are considered more affordable than other luxury handbags from different designers. If you're in the market for an LV bag this fall it's a good idea to get as much information as you can on them.

Back in the 1980s the Louis Vuitton luxury brand were sold in high-end department stores and upscale retailers. Unfortunately that is when the counterfeiting business started, so they stopped selling their products in these outlets.
