A top popular clothing line out right now alice + olivia, designs by Stacey Bendet. As her line has grown over the past few years, so have the trends. Here is some great information about this beloved clothing line.

Stacey Bendet, born and raised in New York has always had a passion for fashion, particularly pants. She's always focused on every type of pant there has been, skinny paints, slim pants, bell bottomed pants and so on. She studied at the University of Pennsylvania, and began her collection of denim there. She had "stacks and stacks of it" Stacey stated. After many years of her searching for the perfect pair of pants, she decided to attempt making her own pants. She was always unique when it came to style; it had to be something that no one else had already thought of. With her years of searching and then creating, came alice + oliva. A creation was born.

The alice + olivia line was started as a collection at Barneys in New York City back in 2002. She was proud of her work and was often found on the busy streets of New York sporting her designs that were in the process of becoming famous. As her trends became popular, her collection began to grow and the detail continued to get larger. Her collection blossomed from pants to everything from coats, sweaters and sequin dresses. With more and more stores offering the Alice + olivia signature pieces, the name is booming with customers wanting more. In 2008, alice + olivia paired up with Payless shoes to start a partnership and a line of shoes. Today, this line is being sold in more than 800 stores across the world from stores such as Barneys, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus and Barneys and stretching over to international sea's stores including Harrods in London and Lane Crawford in Hong Kong.

Some of her more popular designs being sold are a "Structured Shoulder Leather Shift Dress" This dress is a scoop-neck leather dress which has jersey material side panels and a plunging v in the back. This dress only comes in black, and sizes ranging from extra-small to large. Another one other hot item is a "washed leather jacket with structured shoulders." This leather jacket has a fold-over collar and a belt buckle that is placed off centered around the waist. The jacket is long sleeved and has ruching down the arms. Along with clothing, there are also purses and accessories to accompany these stylish trends. You can purchase a "Suede Hobo Bag" a "Chain Bag," or a "Long Crystal Chain Necklace" to go along with your look. Being that Stacey is known for her start in pants, she has a number of different styles of pants being sold in stores. Currently you can purchase a pair of "Jody Genie Pants," which resembles a pants that you would see a genie wearing, "Long Leggings," which is a hot ticket item to have for this upcoming season to wear with a long sweater or shirt. She's also bringing back the "Snake Print Leather Leggings," to spice things up a bit. Along with regular pants, she has a line of denim out as well.

Pricing for alice + olivia clothing ranges anywhere on average from the $100's to the mid $500's. With her mix of style, it's not wonder why her customer base is grown so rapidly. The alice + olivia line can be used for any occasion ranging from heading to the grocery store, a classroom, a casual office or going to one of the most talked about cocktail parties of the year. Stacey's line has a little bit of something for everyone.
