This Cherokee - African American blues phenomenon hopes to encourage the younger generation to keep the spirit of blues alive. He is hoping that the newer generation will appreciate this genre and perpetuate the blues. After all, the blues is an American genre of music.
On Friday, June 19, there will be a free outdoor concert for all ages to enjoy a taste of the live performance. Along with this, there will also be a Guitar Hero Competition on Friday and Saturday. Make sure that you bring your lawn chair. There will be food and vendors there, as well.
Many of the local companies are sponsoring the event along with Don Henley. These sponsors include, Sta-Dry Roofing, LLC, Linden Economic Development Corporations, Mid South Engine & Machine, LLC., Jason and Sharla Dressman, Linden Drug Company, B2TF Long Term Care Pharmacy.
The free day is geared more toward students, however admission is free for all. There is limited seating for VIPs and others who wish to join T-Bone inside the theater. VIPs get special backstage privileges. There are about 292 seats available all together. Get your tickets on line by following the link to your right in the resource box.
