The 5 Best Blushes from Sephora

Descriptions of the Top 5 Blushes at Sephora

Wendy Rose Gould
Rouge, tint, blusher, blush, flush, bronzer, cheek color. Whatever you want to call it, blush is a staple in any woman's beauty regimen. I'm an avid make-up fan and love to try all sorts of things. Sephora is my second home, so I'm pretty familiar with the products they have to offer. Even though the prices are higher than your low-medium end products, the quality is worth the price and a splurge won't hurt you! Here is a list of Sephora's Top 5 blushes:

1. NARS Orgasm, $25

This is one of my favorite blushes ever because it works on pretty much every single skin tone. It's a soft, sheer pressed powder blush that adds depth and the perfect amount of color to your face. It's a peachy, pink hue with a slight shimmer and definitely gives you that "after sex" glow. Be warned that if you purchase this product once you're sure to buy another!

2. Benefit Benetint, $28

Benetint has been around for a long time due to its following of loyal users. It's a classic in the beauty world and rightfully so. This waterproof liquid blush/tint is sheer and flirty. According to Sephora, it gives off an "innocent yet provocative glow to keep everyone guessing, "what has she been up to?" It's the sexiest flush you can get from a bottle." The best part about this product is that it's a 2 for 1. You can use it on your lips as a lip stain, too!

3. Cargo - various colors, $24

Cargo Cosmetics is renowned in the makeup world for it's wonderful blushes. I love this blush because it comes in a large, oversized tin so you get more blush for your buck! The large surface area comes in handy when you're using a blush brush because it allows you to pick up more pigment which makes for a better application. The pressed colors are all sheer and go on nicely! I recommend Mendocino and Topeka.

4. Clinique Blushing Blush Powder Blush, $18.50

Your cheeks will thank you for this one. This oil-free pressed powder blush comes in an assortment of hues. It defines cheek bones and goes on smoothly leaving you with a refreshing, natural look. You can layer this blush to your desired intensity and it will never look caky. Oh, and the staying power is brilliant. I recommend Berry Delight, Smoldering Plum and Aglow.

5. Smashbox O-GLOW, $26

"Intuitive Cheek Color With Goji Berry-C Complex"

This is like blush from the future. I love it for the mere novelty-ness it offers, but my love goes beyond that! This is s naturally pink hued cheek color that comes in gel form. It goes on clear but with a little warmth from your skin turns into the perfect shade of pink for your cheeks. Your face looks like it's glowing and it always looks natural. According to Sephora, "O-GLOW is packed with our exclusive Goji Berry-C Complex™, ginkgo biloba, pomegranate seed for antioxidant protection, and revitalizing marine botanicals for added healthy-skin benefits."
