India Oven
2218 Paradise Road
Las Vegas, Nevada
This family-owned Indian kitchen offers authentic Indian dishes just one block off of the strip. The food at this little Indian kitchen gets rave reviews, and it's inexpensive, too - the lunch buffet will only cost you $8.95. The entrees are slightly more expensive, running between $10.00 - $15.00 per meal. If you're a Indian food novice, or if you simply don't like too much spice, the staff is accommodating when it comes to adjusting the heat on their dishes. While the location isn't all that great, the staff aims to make up for it with mouth-watering Indian fare.
Tamba Indian Cuisine
3743 Las Vegas Boulevard, Suite 205
Las Vegas, Nevada
According to their website, Tamba aims to provide a menu that "honors tradition while reinventing it". Their lounge is truly amazing, and worth the visit in itself. Enormous red-hued murals by international artist Farhad Elahi cover the walls, contrasting beautifully with the dark furniture and lush satin pillows. The food is "anglo-Indian" and delicious, and the prices are reasonable.
