The 5 Best States to Visit for New Year's

1. New York. This obvious best place to celebrate for New Years is New York. Spending New Year's in Manhattan is a blast and you will not even notice how cold it is. Watching the ball drop, watching the huge Christmas tree and children ice skating on getting in the ice skating rink yourself, nothing gets better than that! There are also usually great performances in New York for New Year's. Many celebrities stop by to perform and take part in the whole celebration occurs in New York around that time.

2. Georgia. To be more specific, Atlanta, GA. Atlanta has many events during New Years and you are likely to find something you get into and appreciate regardless of what you are interested in. Though you may not get trapped in any snow storms, still bring a coat. It gets a bit chilly.

3. Florida. Maybe your goal is to get away from the cold for New Years and Miami may be the perfect place to do so. Think about it like this - Cold Christmas, hot New Years. Sounds perfect, doesn't it? You can take part in the free fireworks in Miami Beach or get to Bayfront Park Amphitheater for their free event with live performances by bands. If clubbing is your thing, you may want to check out Mansion or Set Nightclub.

4. California. Another warm state, though you may not think so during this time. California has great events all during the year and New Years is no exception. Spend some time in Hollywood, it would be an experience to remember. You could also celebrate at Disneyland which opens late or check out the Rose Parade on New Years Day.

5. Illinois. Chicago is the perfect place to spend New Years, especially if it snows. Just the vibe of this state makes New Years feel real. You won't be able to help celebrating. You can check out the Navy Pier where many live known bands perform and fireworks are displayed.

I hope you have a great New Years no matter where you choose to go! Have a Merry Christmas also.
