Ridiculous Performance # 1 - Aven Moore- this kid really looked like he was going to put on a great performance, but looks can definitely be deceiving. It was hilarious to see all four judges squirming uncomfortably in their seats as they anxiously awaited the end of Aven's performance, which went over the time limit. His singing was so off-key and annoying that it was almost difficult to listen to him the entire time. The only thing that made it tolerable was anticipating the judges' comments, which was very much worth the wait. I distinctly remember Simon using the words "bizarrely dreadful" to describe this poor kid's singing.
Ridiculous Performance # 2 - James Lewis - What can I say about this young man? His singing was absolutely horrific and the judges didn't fail to let him know it either. Randy and Paula actually laughed out loud during this awful performance, and I can't blame them because I probably would have too had I been a judge.
Ridiculous Performance # 3 - Gregory and Mia Tobias - Have you ever felt the need to cringe while listening to someone sing? This brother and sister duo definitely made me cringe with their horribly out-of-tune singing.
Ridiculous Performance # 4 - Ian Bernardo- I'm not sure why these people go on American Idol to make complete idiots of themselves, but that's exactly what Ian did when he attempted to sing the song "Gloria" after bragging about being a superstar. Utterly ridiculous.
Ridiculous Performance # 5 - Rhonetta Johnson- this young woman assured judges that she could be better than J. Lo or Janet Jackson yet her performance proved the total opposite. She was absolutely horrible, but insisted that it was because she was nervous.
