1. Tori. Tori's profile has her listed as a contributing member since March of 2006. She is from Detroit and her interests include tattoos, gambling and the Loch Ness Monster. If her variety of interests doesn't capture your attention then the following should. Her clout rating has her articles receiving over a million views. She is listed as having published over 600 pieces on AC. Although her volume is impressive, even more so is the focus of her attention. The bulk of her articles discuss how you can earn money online. Let's face it, most people were driven to AC with the hopes of getting published and earning money while sitting in their underwear in the comfort of their own homes. Tori's articles will show you how to do just that. For her ingenuity and sharing the benefits of her knowledge, Tori makes the list.
2. Bryce Baker. Bryce's profile has him listed as a contributing member since April of 2007. He is from Sikeston and under interests he lists only mysticism. This is incredibly appropriate considering what Bryce has managed to do in his short time with AC. His accomplishment is truly magical. The topics of his articles range from children's websites to sleep paralysis to absinthe. If the range of subject matter hasn't caught your interest then the following should. In only nine months Bryce has managed to receive over half a million views. It gets better. He has only published eleven articles. That's right, only eleven articles! Most content producers have to write countless more articles before even coming close to experiencing that kind of viewing traffic. Bryce has discovered the secret to maximizing your benefits as a writer on AC and has revealed it for all to see. For his accomplishments, Bryce makes the list.
3. Saba, Ink. Saba's profile has her listed as a contributing member since December of 2006. She is from Charlotte and her interests include music, culture and restaurant reviews. Saba's articles range from intimate interviews with some of the most talented people to ever walk the earth to the evolution of segments of the music industry to suggestions on how to save the economy through the arts. She chooses to tackle subjects that are deserving of continued attention but have historically been denied their due. She has a classic style and an eye for intimate detail. Saba has also chosen to share the secrets to accomplishing what the modern media only dreams about for every primetime lead-in: the perfect celebrity interview. For her accomplishment, Saba makes the list.
4. Steven Mottor. Steven's profile has him listed as a contributing member since December of 2006. He is from Pittsfield and his interests include Basketball, poetry and movies. Steven has written over four hundred articles and is listed as a frequent contributor to AC under a variety of headings. He is a primary example of a contributor who offers a benefit to his readers with every article. An overwhelming influence in Steven's content is the development of technology in the modern world. With over half a million content views, there is no denying his readers share his interest. His determination to share with his readers is unyielding. On December 3rd of this year Steven submitted 28 articles. An impressive feat for a single day. For what he has achieved and what he will certainly continue to offer, Steven makes the list.
5. Christine aka Chrissy & Company. Christine's profile has her listed as a contributing member since March of 2006. She is from Fort Worth and her interests include online advertising, consumer health and travel. Her profile does not even begin to scratch the surface of what she has accomplished. In a little over a year and half of providing content, Christine has written over 2500 articles, garnering over a million views. She is arguably one of the most prolific content providers at AC. On November 27th of this year Christine submitted over 40 articles. She repeated this feat on December 5th. An absolutely remarkable accomplishment. Her articles cover a variety of topics with an emphasis on health and well being that offer something for everyone. For her accomplishments, Christine makes the list.
Certainly there will be suggestions of other writers who should have been taken into consideration and I welcome your input. For now however, these five have embodied the spirit of what can be achieved through accomplishment at AC and the offering up of their knowledge to others. For their unique contributions, they are the five most intriguing writers at Associated Content.

Post a CommentSam, I enjoyed your article a lot. Writing for Associated Content was fun. I would write many articles a day to help me receive some extra income. However, I briefly soured to AC because they no longer wanted to pay me for my hard work. They stated that they no longer would use "poorly constructed" articles. I tested their theory by giving the articles to my close friends. They received $5-8 dollars for each article. What I learned is that Associated Content has their limits to how much they are willing to pay. It hurt my feelings because they would not say that was the reason, instead hinting that my work was inferior.
Keep up the great work and I will continue to publish whenever I find time.
Wow Sam! I didn't know you had posted this about me! Thanks so much!
Thank you, Sam, for sharing your thoughts on these writers. I will do a search for the ones I do not know and check them out. I may have read some of the Tori you mentioned and will check out the ones I found.
Here is the link to Saba.ink's Profile Page: http://www.associatedcontent.com/user/34923/sabaink.html I highly recommend everyone taking a lot at her article about Gary "G Man" Toms. Copy and paste the URL in your browser's address box and scroll her list of articles to find it. The "G Man" does not write much for AC, but he does write stuff worth reading. Saba's article about him is another of her excellent interviews.
Nice tribute; but I do not a couple of the CPs. I did a search for Tori and two came up on the first page; neither started in March 2006. I think that is what commenter tasloi meant in his/her comments; but one does not need html to create a link within articles. There is an icon; copy paste (for instance)Tori, click icon and enter URL. During the publishing process AC also gives the choice of adding up to 3 "Supporting Links" and a third option would have been to add links to these 5 CPs Profile Page to make it easier for readers to check them out.
that didn't come out b/c they filter html in comments. Look up html links on google and you should find the code.
You can use html tags to create links to these people, which would draw readership their way as well: their name.
