Silicon Valley Mom's Blog - This aptly titled blog features entries from mothers around Silicon Valley, and while they're not all weird, they can certainly stray into strange territory. A good example is "I'm Living In A Nudist Colony," written by a mother who's promoting healthy nudity in her own family. The sometimes odd blogs all seem to have great messages and offer a fresh perspective on motherhood in California.

The Jersey Short - Speaking of fresh perspectives, you can't really get any more fresh or fascinating of a perspective than that of DJD, a mother who is also a dwarf. She deftly deals with challenges that most of us will never have to consider, but the humor and well-paced writing style of her blog makes it easy to work through a few months' worth of entries in an hour or two. This is an incredible personal experience blog that both mothers and non-mothers can enjoy.

Element 22 - This blog from an Alaskan mother (no, not that Alaskan mother) features poetry, pictures of the author's highly active life, and some strange entries on the trials and tribulations of Alaskan motherhood. The blog also has occasional non-breastfeeding related entries.

Mamarazzi - Does the world really need a blog centering around celebrities with children? Well, it has one anyways. Mamarazzi is light hearted as compared to many of the celebrity blogs out there, partly owing to its focus on mothers. It features pictures, news, and even celebrity parenting tips.
