The 5 Worst Acting Spouses in Hollywood

Lee Andrew Henderson
In a previous article I presented to my readers some of the best and worst acting siblings in Hollywood. I've decided to keep it in the family once again but this time I'm giving you the best and worst spouses in Hollywood. There aren't a whole lot of cases in Hollywood where a bad actor marries a good actor. For the most part the good actors are attracted to the good actors and the bad actors are attracted to the bad actors. These are some of the worst acting couples in Hollywood.

Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher
Once upon a time Demi Moore was not that bad of an actor but she jumped the shark when she starred in Striptease. Demi's career was downhill from there. At one point Demi Moore would've stayed off this list because of her marriage to Bruce Willis but she downgraded big time by marrying Ashton Kutcher. I actually don't hate Kutcher as a non-leading part like on the television show "That 70's Show" but as a leading man he is unbearable.

Freddie Prinze Jr. and Sarah Michelle Gellar
Sarah Michelle Gellar was once the star of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." "Buffy" has a very loyal cult following. The funny thing is despite being the star, Sarah Michelle Gellar is one of the fans' least favorite. That's more than I can say for Freddie Prinze Jr. though. I guess Freddie Prinze Jr. was briefly popular among the female teens but he didn't last very long.

Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker
I know Matthew Broderick has a loyal following due to Ferris Bueller and Sarah Jessica Parker has a loyal following because of Sex in the City, but I find both of those projects to be overrated. Even if you do like Ferris Bueller or Sex in the City, what else has either of them done?

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes
I'm not a big time Tom Cruise hater. I think he's okay in what he's in, but okay at best. Katie Holmes is the worse of the two by far. Sometimes I wonder if Tom Cruise has stapled Katie Holmes mouth shut because her "acting" consists of never opening her mouth and mumbling through her lips.

Christine Taylor and Ben Stiller
Ben Stiller seems to have eleven movies come out ever year, but even with all those movies to choose from I've only liked two Ben Stiller movies. How does somebody make so many movies and only have two good movies? Oh well, it's one more than Christine Taylor has.

Lee, I loved this article and I usually agree with you. But I have to disagree with you big time about Sarah Jessica Parker. She is a very talented actress and has a huge fan following. Even if SATC is the biggest thing she's done, it was a very successful project. Yes, hubby Matthew Broderick is a bit of a dud, I'll agree with you there. Can't you substitute Pam Anderson and whoever her current husband is for the Broderick-Parker's? That said, a very good read anyway.

After watching Night at the Museum I think Ben Stiller should be on the list twice. That said, I have to admit that he can be pretty funny, sometimes. Good read, I enjoyed it.
