First of all, the speaker phone does not work so just forget about it. The speaker phone on the Uniden EXI 8560 is absolutely worthless, it cuts out on me constantly and other people say they can not hear me at all. I just don't see why Uniden couldn't put a working speaker phone in this model. Many other users report having problems with their speaker phone as well, so if your thinking of buying it because of the speaker phone feature, just forget about it because it doesn't work. Whether this is from the Uniden EXI 8560's tendency to easily receive surrounding interference or whether it is just a plain bad speaker phone model is up for debate.
The voice quality is also not very good, sometimes people can't hear what I am saying so I have to switch phones to another phone or even use my cell phone to call. I have trouble hearing people on this model as well. The phone is not particularly comfortable to hold either and like I stated earlier it is rather bulky. The range on the phone is probably the only good thing, it can be used from practically anywhere on my property, however people can't hear me half the time. The screen is big and easy to read, but it is already bleeding ink and some numbers don't show up when people call on the caller ID or when I'm dialing.
In conclusion, with the Uniden EXI 8560, you get what you pay for. This is a very cheap low-end cordless phone that has a lot of problems. The speaker phone is worthless, and the voice quality is bad. You are better off going for a more expensive phone then this one or at least a different model because you are not going to be happy with this model if you buy it, at least I wasn't. The phone also lost its charge after a while and won't hold a charge even after charging it for hours upon hours. I wish I had my money back from this phone to purchase a much better model.
