This project was challenging but it revealed a lot about our eating habits. Our 10% sales tax takes a big chunk out of our grocery budget so I had to creatively cut corners. Regrettably, I ran slightly over budget but I think I'm going to try this again next week. My post shopping examination has inspired me with new ideas and new ways to eat for less.
