The 8 Hottest 'Camp Rock' Questions - Answered!

'Camp Rock' is finally here, and millions of you have tuned in to watch. The movie has left fans thrilled - and more than a little curious - about the movie and its totally talented cast. Below are eight of the hottest questions, answered!

Q: Are Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas dating?

A: No. Demi is 15, and Joe is 18, so that would be totally illegal. Also, Demi has a boyfriend (Nick Braun, see photos of them here), and Joe Jonas is said to be dating Chelsea Staub, 19, who starred in the movie Bratz. That being said, things do change - Demi and all three of the Jonas brothers will be on tour all summer, which is how the Miley Cyrus' romance rumors got started last year.

Q: Did Shane and Mitchie kiss? Was it cut out of the movie? Why?!?!

A: In the final cut of 'Camp Rock', Mitchie and Shane didn't kiss, leaving lots of fans confused. According to widely circulated YouTube videos, they do kiss on the cheek at the end of the credits. If they ever kissed on the lips, it was cut out of the movie. Many fans think the lip action will be saved for the sequel, just like 'High School Musical'.

Q: Where did Disney find Demi Lovato (who played Shane's (Joe Jonas) love interest, Mitchie Torres, in Camp Rock)?

A: The executives at Disney first saw Demi on a tape from a Disney casting call in early 2007 and loved her! 'Camp Rock' was intended to be Demi's first major movie - Disney says they had to "shoehorn" the Jonas Brothers into the film!

Q: Has Demi Lovato sang or acted before?

A: Yes! Demi says she knew she wanted to sing since the age of 5, and appeared on Barney & Friends at age 8. She had a one-time spot on Prison Break, and has had other small roles.'Camp Rock' was her biggest break so far. Check out her official website.

A: They're waiting on a finished script right now, but filming should start in spring or summer 2009.

A: She's done soooo much, you'll be surprised you haven't seen her before! She's danced in music videos for Missy Elliott and Eminem, acted in Drake & Josh, The Suite Life Of Zack & Cody and That's So Raven, and has voiced characters in Garfield: The Movie and the hit cartoon Phineas & Ferb.
