The 80's were sort of a blur to me
I was still just a kid through most of them you see
Yet I do remember when Reagan was shot
And I remember the flair leg pants were hot
I remember t.v. shows such as "Emergency" and "CHiPs"
And that the good kind of music was still hip
I remember the good times I had in high school
And getting my drivers license was oh so cool
But I guess the thing I remember the most I think
Is that gas was at a reasonable price and the economy did not stink

Reagan got shot. There was still good music to listen to. And I got my driver's license in the 80's.

Post a CommentVery good points! Although the World's Fair in Knoxville helped to protect the local economy somewhat.
