the 911 Call for Assiistance Has Been Heard

Jenny Heart
People know to call 911 in times of an emergency. Calling 911 means help is needed fast due to an emergency situation. Today I would like to share with my readers how I feel my 911 call for assistance was answered. This was not an actual 911 call. Just a way at looking at my situation.

Today started out like any other day with my daughter. Stacy had an appointment with a new counselor at the Human Service Center in our town. This day started out like many other days; one that was filled with hope, but also much frustration.

A surprise was waiting behind the door of the counselor we would be seeing. The counselor's first name is Sam. She was sent by God I truly believe. Her heart poured out to me with understanding, and much care. I knew our lives would change for the better from that moment.

I know this wonderful woman is only human, however I know she feels from her heart what needs to be done, and will not stop until she has helped erase as many obstacles as possible. Sam is the type of counselor that can bring much hope to others.

God the great physician of us all sent Sam to us when our family needed 911 assistance. She filled the room with compassion, and much hope. I couldn't seem to hold back the tears. These tears were cleansing indeed.

Our road of healing has just begun once again. Medication I've learned is not always the answer. Medications can cause bad side effects, and even lead to more problems if not handled properly. The counselor shared with us her own personal experience stories. Stacy and I feel like we have come across understanding waters. Waters that are filled with hope from the heavens.

Stacy has been to many doctors and counselors. The right helpful support has always been needed. Now, I feel we're on the right road. I don't know where this road of discovery will lead us, but we are excited just thinking about walking hand in hand together through it all.

Poem of hope

God our great physician

Please, keep us in your tender care.

Sometime we cry

And say it's not fair

Remind us those trials

Teach many lessons

Give us strength from heaven

With you I know

It's never too late

We will count on you

And wait, wait, wait

Until your answer

Soars upon

Our troubled hearts

And says

I'm here to set you free
