Stevie Wonder, Kings of Leon, Nora Jones, Dave Matthews Band, Jay-Z, Jeff Beck with the Flaming Lips playing Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" are among the major artists on the line-up of this year's 9th annual Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. What self-respecting music lover wouldn't want to be part of the action?

The 'Roo has earned the reputation of being the ultimate summer musical festival of North America and the stage (stages to be exact) to showcase the many underground bands, established acts, artists and musicians across every imaginable contemporary genre. They collaborate, perform their best music, do a live cover of other famous songs and jam together for this spectacular four-day event on June 10th to the 13th at Manchester, Tennessee.

Past Bonnaroo performers included Pearl Jam, Metallica, Kanye West, Tenacious D, Widespread Panic, The Police, Elvis Costello, Radiohead, John Foggerty, Bruce Springsteen - whose three-hour gig at the 2009 'Roo was his first and only musical festival appearance to date - just to name a few. With Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nail's announcement that the band's 2009 Bonnaroo appearance would be its last show in the US further cemented Bonnaroo's importance in the worldwide music scene.

Lest we forget, Bonnaroo has much more to offer other than their impressive music and performance line-up. Cineastes will approve of the 'Roo's 24-hour, air-conditioned tent cinema where animation, documentaries, classic movies and important sporting events are screened all day. Indie filmmakers like Ben Sollee and Don Hertzfeldt have shown their work at Bonnaroo's mini-fest of films and shorts.

Comedians Steve Martin, Conan O'Brien, Jimmy Fallon, Wayne Federman, Janeane Garofalo, John Mulaney have all taken their brand of laughs to the Bonnaroo as well. Catch this year's comedy shows at the 'Roo's Comedy Theatre.

Want to party and dance the night away? Bonnaroo have their own Silent Disco for party people who want to do just that.

Organizers of the 'Roo has been working hard to keep the musical fest as green as possible and their efforts doesn't stop at recycling and composting trash at the fest. Sample the selection of organic food, do some yoga or bring your old cell phones for recycling. The trivia-savvy can also join the fun at "HeadCount Reality Check", a trivia tournament.

Kidz Jam is Bonnaroo's way of catering to the young music fans attending the fest. Parents are expected to be on hand as their little tykes partake of the fun Kidz Jam has to offer. Art and recycling projects are sure to keep the little ones occupied. Interactive games and sports are bound to keep them busy and happy.
