The A.B.S. Pewter Cotton Sheen Pleated Dress

If you are the type that craves glamour then you will want this dress as apart of your wardrobe. What I have noticed about Angelina's evening style is that it is simply designed with simple colors. This dress has a simple design with a simple color. Even though this dress has such a dark color it is still great for the summer. It is very lightweight and is made a woven cotton material. What I like about this dress is that even though it cotton it still has a great glamorous appeal to it because it has been treated with a chemical sheen. Actually, the dress almost looks like it could be blended with silk even though its not!

The rounded collar comes up above the collar bone. There is no showing any cleavage in this dress. There is an innocence to this dress. Even though we all know Angelina is not the most innocent person at least she can look like it in this style dress. If glamorous decency is what you are going for, this is the dress for you. In some ways it kind of reminds me of a school girl kind of dress.

To go along with this school girl look it is pleated along the front of this dress. This style dress Angelina Jolie wore often when she was pregnant because the pleats help minimize the pregnancy look. I really like the pleating they do it in such a contemporary way so that it does not look too old school. There is also a belt that is attached to the waist. The belt adds a nice little sassy flair. I think that it helps to define your waist line and add shape to the dress.

The skirt is also pleated which adds some nice detailing to this basic structure. The flair of the skirt part of the dress is a little less than A-line. The front of the dress buttons up so you will have to step into this dress. All of the buttons are in full view.

The only thing that I was not fond of was the short puff sleeves. In my opinion I think puffs sleeves look too little girlish. Puff sleeves look best when they are long and soft. I don't know, I guess I just fee like this has a Little House on the Prairie look to it.

Another thing that really bugged me about this dress is that the sizes are so limited. The sizes only come in zero, two and six. So for those of us who are eight's or more tough luck! I know I would be at least a ten in this dress.
