I see them
I feel them
I hear them
I speak them
My mind transforms some into what I can smell and taste
I can't imagine my life without words
To see
To hear
To feel
To write
To speak
To read
Yet that is what some have
Words that their eyes can see
Words that their ears can hear
Words that their mouths can speak
Yet-
Words that their minds can't grasp
Words that their fingers can't write
Words they can't discern
on a page
on a sign
on a screen
To them, good is the same as bad
Because they can't read either word
I couldn't imagine my life without words
I want to help those whose lives have been spent without words to read and write
So they can know the love, joy and value of words that I know
