The AC Challenge Part Four

In this one month series of The AC Challenge, my goal is for me to write a least eight to ten articles per day. The purpose is to see what kind of salary might be earned by writing articles on the Associated Content site at a regular rate of production. Today is the fourth day of my self imposed attempt to meet the challenge. When writing for Day Three, I reported completing five articles for the day. I managed to complete one more after that report. So far for each day of the challenge, I have not met my daily quota of completed and submitted articles. I am currently eleven articles short of my eight per day goal and seventeen articles short of the higher goal of ten articles per day.

I did not spend very much time writing today once I returned home, but there is still time. I started one article then changed my mind. I realized that the news in the article would become stale over the time it takes to be made an offer, offer accepted, payment processed and article published. I actually spent time instead looking at better paying offers for writing on another site.

Part One The AC Challenge

Part Two Day 1 - June 17th, 2007 - of the AC Challenge - 5 Articles

Part Three Day 2 - June 18th, 2007 - of the AC Challenge - 6 Articles

Part Four Day 3 - June 19th, 2007 - of the AC Challenge - 2 Articles

Each article that I have written is being treated as one article regardless to the number of words in each article as long as there are at least 400 words or more total per article. In one case an article was approximately 1,200 words but was still counted as one article.

So far it is obvious that other avenues of income are required and writing for Associated Content it seems can only be a supplement. It takes a lot of discipline to produce the amount of content needed to equal a full time job. The amount of money offered for each article is minimal yet articles are very likely to be accepted and published. So far I have not run into rejection. I do not intend to give up this challenge and plan to see it through to the completion of one month. Each day there will be a follow up like this one, on my progress.

Are you still working on your goal? I hope it works out well for you. It isn't always easy to meet a set quota.
