On the second day of my AC Challenge, my goal was to write eight articles but completed only five articles. I concluded that some days could be better than others and the quota could be made up. I went to sleep with numerous ideas to write about, however my memories during my rest made it clear that two particular stories needed to be written first. Both have since been completed for Day 3 of my AC Challenge.
The Article Titles are:
"Your Child Has Been Shot Part One" and "Your Child Has Been Shot Part Two"
These two articles are true stories about two of my children. I pray that I never have to write about this again. I do however maintain a web site regarding the second article in order to keep vigilant that a parole is never granted for a convicted murderer. If you would like to help, read the article and go to the site where you will find the forms to fill out to send to the DA as well as to The Parole Board..
Getting back to my AC Challenge, the time it takes to get an offer is discussed in the Forums. It could take several days for an article to receive an offer. For this self challenge, I have not anticipated any rejections and have also figured that if production was steady and daily then once in motion, the offers would be in turn steady and daily although this is not necessarily true. My first offer was received nine days after the article was submitted. I received anther offer today, 7 days after submitting the article.
In total including this one, I have completed four articles today. Keeping up the quota is not easy especially if other issues distract you. I still owe myself at least two articles from yesterday and four more for today. I'll see what I can accomplish before the day is over.
I am undecided right now how to go forward. If I try to be conventional, with a specific typical eight hour day, I will go against the flow of working whenever you want and the freedom to do so. Perhaps I will keep the freedom but time myself to see just what amount of time is actually being spent. Yes, that would be best and will be reported in the next follow up about my AC Challenge.
