Based on the movie, The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland, this is a great computer game for young kids. Elmo is a character most kids know and love, and in the game, there are many more familiar and unique characters to interact with. At the start, Elmo is on Sesame Street with his "best friend" his blanket. Zoe wants to hold the blanket but Elmo won't let her. They pull on the blanket, and it flies up, landing in Oscar's trash can. Elmo jumps in after his blanket and is transported to Grouchland.
Elmo in Grouchland Computer Game: Review of Game World
Grouchland has a number of places to play, and easy tasks to complete. Players move throughout town, a coal mine, a junkyard, and up a mountain. There's a map that allows you to jump to any spot, and a green arrow in the top corner allows you to speed through areas.
Elmo in Grouchland Computer Game: Review of Activities and Skills
This computer game focuses on fun rather then educational tasks for young kids. There is, however, a game that requires players to recognize sounds, and a second game that works with memory skills. Players must remember the order of the animals sounds to place in the code to get Elmo's blanket. Kids will love creating crazy hairdos at Grouchland's parlor, messing up rather then washing a car, creating crazy tracks through the coal mine, hide and seek, and more.
