What happened next was an all out war by scientists, philosophers, and merchants upon the church and the king.

Their zeal was summed up by a philosopher of their time, Saint-Simon,

"These men are Frenchmen who are the most essential producers, those who make the most important products, those who direct the enterprises most useful to the nation, those who contribute to its achievements in the sciences, fine arts and professions. They are in the most real sense the flower of French society, the most useful to their country. Let us pass on to another assumption. Suppose that France preserves all the men of genius that she possesses in the sciences, fine arts and professions, but Monsieur the King's brother, Monseigneur le duc d' Anguoleme, Monseigneur le duc de Berry, and Madame la duchesse d'Anguoleme. Suppose that France loses at the same time all the great officers of the royal household, all the ministers, all the councilors of state, all the chief magistrates, marshals, cardinals, archbishops, bishops, vicars-general, and canons, all the prefects and sub-prefects, all the civil servants, and judges, and, in addition, ten thousand of the richest proprietors who live in the style of nobles. This mischance would certainly distress the French, because they are kind-hearted, and could not see with indifference the sudden disappearance of such a large number of their compatriots. But this loss of thirty thousand individuals, considered to be the most important in the state, would only grieve them for purely sentimental reasons and would result in no political evil for the state. In the end, after a long and messy revolution, Lucifer got his way, the king was removed and the church was diminished to an inconsequential position. Notice however, Satan did not get rid of his religious institution since he would continue to use it to attempt to discredit the existence of God further along in history. More on this monstrous labor later.

To move on to the next part of this teaching, an outline of the socio-economic setting of this particular period will be briefly given. In turn, this will help one to comprehend how profound the changes were to the common people of this period, as well as, help one to grasp the present error of both the protestant and catholic institutions. Up to this point, medieval Europe was a theocratic monarchal scale culture. Most citizens were poor and landless. Serfs relied heavily on the open field system to maintain self-sufficiency. Landlords would rent out parcels of their land and tax the serf for the use of the fields; in return the serf would pay off the debt by laboring for the landlord every few days. This system was profitable for landowners but also allowed the common people some autonomy. As well, peasants were permitted to use common fields such as meadows, pastures, and the woodlands for hunting, collecting wood, and tending their animals. The medieval economy consisted mostly of barter and trade, although later, the mercantile system would be widely used. Money was not yet commonplace and later too, gold bars would be the measurement of the GDP (gross domestic product). Access to materials depended on whether or not ones items were of value to the market. What were of value to most would be basic materials for food shelter, and clothing. It was the barons, philosophers, and merchants who become the pawns of the devil to execute the next part of his strategy, which was to deny living beings independence altogether by abolishing self-reliance through land eviction. This attack on the autonomy of humanity would push common people to turn from belief in God to depending upon a man made system. Self-government is a gift from God. God created humanity as equals not so that one can rule another. When self rule is taken from an individual, the person is no longer independent but dependent on another. This position diminishes the beauty of God's intent for humans. Consequently, a person is forced to do things that one really doesn't want to do in order to sustain his/her self. In addition, if a group manages to gain control of the resources, obviously then their intent is not for the good of all, since they aren't making them available to everyone. Moreover, the devil is called the Fowler. A fowler is someone who catches birds and keeps them in a cage for amusement. Yet, birds have wings that they might fly. The territory some birds can cover is staggering. To put a bird that is capable of traveling great distances in a cage is cruel to say the least. Humanity too is just like birds. God created people to be free; not free to do wrong but free to think and to act in order to live a moral and loving life. When this ability is taken from people, they cannot live the way that God intends for them to. Who would have thought that by taking away from society the control of the natural resources that society would slowly but assuredly deny the existence of God? The devil would take control of all the natural resources, rivers, lakes, trees, soil, and animals and turn all of them into a commodity that could only be obtained by those who play the game his way. As well, by turning all the natural and free creations of God into commodities thru men's greed, Satan forces saints to be dependent on those who have control of those resources, in this way; he can manipulate the purity of Christians. How are Christians manipulated? Well take for example Wal-Mart. This is a company which has a terrible reputation for exploiting the poor in lower class countries so that North Americans can get a great deal. Yet, if Wal-Mart is the only gainful employment available, Christians will work for them because they need to pay for their food shelter, and clothing, all of which are in the control of an elite few. Most people Christian or not, don't want to support oppressive corporations. However, people are afraid of homelessness and hunger, so they will compromise their moral stance for their own self preservation. Not to mention, the devil already knows citizens will cave in, which is why the wealthy elite have control of the resources, so that Satan can corrupt citizens knowing full well that God will judge them. The bible explains what happens when humanity is manipulated like this:

"The conspiracy of her princes in her midst is like a roaring lion tearing the prey; they have devoured people; they have taken treasure and precious things; they have made many widows in her midst. The people of the land have used oppressions, committed robbery, and mistreated the poor and needy; and they wrongfully oppress the stranger." Ezek.22: 25, 29

Yet the Lord knows of Satan's arrogant scheme,

"I have worked by the strength of my hand and by my wisdom; for I am wise. And I take away the borders of the peoples, and have robbed their treasures. And like a mighty one, I subdue inhabitants. And my hand has found the riches of the people. Like a nest, I also have gathered all the earth as forsaken eggs are gathered. And there was not one moving a wing, or opening a mouth, or one chirping." Isaiah, 10:13, 14

This scripture is talking about the dulling or de-sensitizing of the masses through the media and advertisements. Satan uses technology to subdue citizens and make them compliant.
Even though these philosophes and merchants thought they were liberating the people from the tyranny of church and king, in reality they were helping the devil plunge the people into a greater darkness. Their new philosophies, (demonic doctrines), corrupted them and spread to the rest of the world, mostly in the form of poverty and nihilism. Thereby fulfilling the scripture which says;

"They are not in trouble as other men, nor are they plagued like other men. Therefore pride serves as their necklace; Violence covers them like a garment. Their face bulges with abundance; They have more than heart could wish. They scoff and speak wickedly concerning oppression; They speak proudly. They set their mouth against the heavens. And their tongue walks proudly through the earth." Ps.73: 5-9

Do you see the pattern? Evil men work along side their father the devil to execute his will in the earth. The churches job is to prevent this from happening, not become a part of it.

"Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God." (2 Corinthians 6:14-16.)
