the age of innocence
is slowly fading
Reality staring
me in the face
Blinded by
a thundercloud
This experience
is a little frightening
in all honesty
its some real scary shit
It'll hit me soon
like a bolt of lightning
No umbrella to be found
No shelter to hide
No running away
It will track you down
What you thought
will never end
Hit you like
a brick in the head
The real world
is on its way
The age of innocence
IS DEAD
The thundercloud is forming
its right over my head
Its contents are overflowing
with what is to come
But now it bursts
as I look above
reality hits me in the face
and the age of innocence
IS DEAD
